From Chile to Finland: Pocuno team visits Sofi Filtration

We were delighted to welcome Pocuno Industri Tekniska to Finland as their seven-person team travelled from Chile for an intensive visit focused on sales and technical training, knowledge sharing and planning for the future.

Pocuno is a technology supplier specialized in the Chilean mining industry, bringing valuable local expertise and a strong understanding of the needs of mining companies in the region.

For Sofi Filtration, Chile is a particularly exciting market. As the world’s leading copper producer, Chile has a highly developed mining industry and a strong need for technologies that can improve recovery and make better use of already mined material.

This is where Sofi Alchemist comes in.

Our mineral recovery solution is designed to capture valuable minerals from process side streams and fine particles that can otherwise be lost. The potential is especially interesting in copper processing, where even small improvements in recovery can translate into significant additional value.

During their visit to Finland, the Pocuno team took part in both sales and technical training, gaining a deeper understanding of Sofi’s technologies, applications and the value proposition of Sofi Alchemist. At the same time, the visit provided an excellent opportunity for our teams to exchange knowledge and discuss the specific opportunities and challenges of the Chilean mining market.

We are very excited to have the Pocuno team here in Finland and grateful for the great discussions, energy and ideas throughout their visit.
