We have been shortlisted in two categories at the Mining Magazine Awards 2026, earning recognition for both technological innovation and leadership. The company is a finalist for the Mineral Processing Excellence Award, while CEO Riina Salmimies has been shortlisted for the Women of the Year Award. The winners will be announced on 7 September 2026.

Sofi Filtration has successfully delivered its first Sofi Alchemist at the Endomines Pampalo gold mine in Finland. After successful plant trials last year, with up to 99% recovery rates of valuable fine concentrate from process water, recovery-as-a-service has now commenced in full plant scale.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Hanna Huppunen as Director of Operations at Sofi Filtration. Hanna also joins the company’s leadership team, further strengthening our operational excellence and growth capabilities.

We have been awarded at the opening of Mikkeli Water Week with a recognition of Finnish water expertise. The award was presented by Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland, Sari Essayah during the Finnish Lakeland Forum seminar on June 9.
