We have been shortlisted in two categories at the Mining Magazine Awards 2026, earning recognition for both technological innovation and leadership. The company is a finalist for the Mineral Processing Excellence Award, while CEO Riina Salmimies has been shortlisted for the Women of the Year Award. The winners will be announced on 7 September 2026.

Sofi Filtration has successfully delivered its first Sofi Alchemist at the Endomines Pampalo gold mine in Finland. After successful plant trials last year, with up to 99% recovery rates of valuable fine concentrate from process water, recovery-as-a-service has now commenced in full plant scale.

Sofi Filtration has joined the EU LIFE Programme-funded MINERVA project (MINeral Efficiency, Recovery and Valorisation in the Arctic), which will demonstrate new approaches to critical raw material recovery, circular mining, and sustainable water management at the Sokli mining project in Eastern Lapland.
