World’s first Sofi Alchemist starts capturing gold at Endomines Gold Mine

We have successfully delivered the first Sofi Alchemist at the Endomines Pampalo gold mine in Finland. After successful plant trials last year, with up to 99% recovery rates of valuable fine concentrate from process water, recovery-as-a-service has now commenced in full plant scale.

The goal is to maximise the value from the mine: recover the ultrafine concentrate particles to ensure not an iota of gold is lost in the process. At the same time, the solution cleans up process water for re-use.

We are also proud to introduce the Recovery-as-a-Service to mining. It means that Sofi Filtration will be owning and operating the system at the mine. It was central that during plant trials, the Sofi Alchemist could be seamlessly integrated at the Endomines mill without disruptions for primary processing.

And here we are today, with our first valued customer ready to reap the benefits.”
