Hip hip hooray! We made it to a shortlist for 2025 EIT Awards!
We have been shortlisted as one of the nominees for the prestigious 2025 EIT Awards, Europe’s flagship celebration of cutting-edge innovation. Announced yesterday by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), the nomination places Sofi Filtration among Europe’s top changemakers shaping solutions for global challenges.
We will compete in the EIT Venture Awards category, a category for an emerging startup within the EIT Community demonstrating exceptional promise and growth potential.
EIT Awards have specifically highlighted in the nomination our pivoting new solution, Sofi Alchemist which offers recovery of (ultra)fine mineral concentrate from process waters at mineral processing plants and at the same time enables sustainable industrial water reuse.
The winners will be revealed at the EIT Innovation Awards Ceremony on 25 November 2025 in Budapest, Hungary, where finalists from 12 countries will showcase game-changing ideas spanning health tech, the circular economy, and critical raw materials to AI-driven advances and sustainable urban mobility.
Take note: There is also EIT Public Award, the community’s favourite finalist, which will be chosen by public vote. Voting will open ahead of the ceremony at eitawards.eu – we will keep you posted!
